NOTE: The NEW Carbrook Hall Guestbook is now in place - we've saved our (old) Guestbook comments [HERE].

See exactly where to find us - test time between the walls of Sheffield's most haunted and historic venue .. There's plenty going on inside, pre-clubbing at weekends, excellent food available everyday - and much more .. have a look around the website or come and see for yourself!

Mine's a pint mate ..

An Ancient Hall, now a public house, still here, standing as it has since the 1600's - come and sample the atmosphere for yourself!!

The land around Carbrook Hall has of course changed dramatically over the centuries - But the building is still intact and we have endeavoured to preserve (and rescue, in some cases!) the original features as they were, way back when. There's plenty of great talking points here.

We, along with other inhabitants of Carbrook Hall before us, have sought to verify the existence of a spirit, employing Psychic Investigators who have confirmed the presence of one we believe to be Colonel John Bright, a distinguished soldier in Cromwell's army.
He has never caused any harm to us mortals though his presence has been sensed often. Living at the Hall is not nearly as spooky as you may imagine as his seems to be a benevolent spirit - allowing us to continue using his home for our own cheerful purposes.

We like to think that Col. Bright is raising a tankard along with us all, in his own space and time .. Cheers to you John!!
